Resource Title: Microsoft Paint
Pitch: If you need a quick touch up you can fall back on the built in tool from Microsoft
Summary: Microsoft Paint has been an included tool on most PCs for some time. Since it’s included with most Windows operating systems it’s a tool that you can find available on large corporate systems. When it’s not possible to log into an online editing tool and if you’re locked out of installing a desktop program then you can fall back on the built in tool. Microsoft paint might not offer the most as far as functionality but I’ve used it many times in a pinch at work. It makes quick work of resizing, cropping and basic touch ups. Its ease of use comes at a price – it isn’t very powerful.
Why authors should care about this resource: Authors who haven’t quite broken the shakles of their day job might find that Paint is a great tool to use at the office. It’s also the most basic and user-friendly paint tool around.
