Summary: Write About Dragons is the home of an online class in writing science fiction and fantasy. The class is led by Scott Ashton, using filmed lectures from author Brandon Sanderson’s 2013 undergraduate writing class at Brigham Young University. The syllabus includes lectures and “meetings,” and weekly writing groups where students provide feedback on each other’s writing assignments. Each student is encouraged to complete a 30,000 word novella over the four months of the class.
